DESCRIPTION:While many people are familiar with the first five books of Mos
 es\, when it comes to the Prophets\, many&nbsp\; of us are left to wonder 
 whether we learned very much beyond the Haftorah that we memorized for our
  bar or bat mitzvah! But the Book of Prophets\, in particular the Nevi’i
 m Rishonim\, the Early Prophets\, are filled with action\, adventure and p
 olitical intrigue. Including the books of Joshua\, Judges\, Samuel (I and 
 II) and Kings (I and II)\, these books are a central part of our ancient h
 istorical narrative that often get&nbsp\; left out of our early Jewish edu
 cation (unless you grew up in Israel!). Come and join us this year as we c
 ontinue our exploration of these important texts and the lessons they migh
