Monday Morning Message – June 25, 2012

In just two days a group of us will be traveling together on the first Congregation Torat El journey to Israel! With that in mind, I have two things that I would like to share with you today.

Missing A Mezuzah??  Do You Want One??

1. Taken from the verses in the V’ahavatah (Deuteronomy 6), a mezuzah is an essential symbol for any Jewish home. Whenever we walk into our house, or into the various rooms in our house, we are reminded that Jewish values and practices should be an essential part of our behavior and that we are to treat all who live and enter into our home accordingly.

SO, Do you have a mezuzah on your front door? Is there another room in your house that is missing a mezuzah? Do you want one??

If so, please e-mail me by tomorrow afternoon (6/26) at 12:00 and I will happily buy one for you in Israel. When we get back, I will gladly come to your home to help you put it up!
