Monday Morning Message – July 23, 2012

The Torah teaches us that Jewish teachings, traditions, and values should always be on our minds- when we are at home, when we are going on our way, when we go to sleep at night and when we rise up in the morning (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). There’s an app for everything these days- and Jewish learning and daily living is no exception! Here’s an article from a few months ago that is useful for anyone who has a smartphone making it easier than ever to add a small amount of Jewish content to our daily lives.   Click here  for a list of the top Jewish apps that help us to do just that. Topics range from Bible study, to Talmud study, to Hebrew games for children, to Jewish material to get us through life’s challenging moments.

Additionally, if you want to work on your Torah reading skills- check out Pocket Torah and Pocket Trope for the iphone (and then call the Cantor to sign up for a reading)!

Have a great week!
