Spring Evening: Timeless Torah- Ancient Ethics For Modern Times
Our ancient sage Ben Bag Bag (great name!) taught that the purpose of Torah study is to “turn it and turn it, for everything is in it; look into it and grow old with it, for there is no greater portion in life” than Torah study. This teaching from Pirkei Avot, Ethics of Our Sages, reminds us that some spiritual wisdom is timeless. Join us as we explore some of his favorite texts from Pirkei Avot and discuss their relevance today. By the end of the series, you will have the tools and resources to continue this study on your own or with a friend or family member for many years to come.
