Living with Enough: The Torah of Environmental Stewardship
What does it mean to have “enough”? In her book, To Forever Inhabit This Earth: An Ethic of Enoughness, Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin asks us to consider how we can “house, clothe, and feed eight billion people while leaving enough natural resources for the rest of creation to thrive.” Drawing on Jewish wisdom and scientific evidence, Cardin invites us to explore our responsibility to care for the earth and to shift our engagement with the world from seeing it as a “commodity” to embracing it as an extraordinary “gift.” Join me as we explore this book together and consider our responsibility to live as stewards of the land we all share.
